San Giacomo Church

Casa Orgnani a Udine

"...San Giacomo Square in Udine is an example of living life : here you can find the market and a lot of people.

It is a meeting of any sort of mankind. The coffee bars with the exhibition and the gratification; the good looking ladies who show themselves off. Just everyone passes by here. It is a democratic square...in a sense. And it gives all its charm off at nightfall. Then you can discover a peculiar familiarity, a special light, a new meaning in everything, there is a peaceful air..."
